This well known server is gaining popularity in the PC market, which is very young compared to the UNIX server. Windows NT server is called Internet Information Server (IIS) which is highly incorporated with the server. This entirely manages the webpages and all the other related pages of the server.

Due to its higher reach, NT applications are multithreaded and has a well known GUI which makes it very comfortable for the users to work with. It is within the reach of many users and hence its applications from Microsoft are extremely user friendly.
